This policy describes what data ConvertLoom gets when you use the site and what we do with it. We keep it short and in plain language.
When you convert a file, it’s sent to our servers so we can process it. We don’t keep it. Files are deleted after the conversion is done. We don’t use your files for anything else and we don’t share them.
Like most websites, we see basic technical data when you visit: your IP address, browser type, and which pages you open. We use this to run the site, fix problems, and understand how people use our tools. Our hosting and any analytics we use may log this data.
If you contact us through the site, we get whatever you type in the form (usually your email and message). We use that only to reply. We don’t add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.
We may use cookies for things like keeping you logged in (if we add that) or remembering preferences. We may also use third-party services such as Google Analytics or ads (e.g. Google AdSense). Those services have their own privacy policies and may set cookies or collect data on our pages. We don’t control what they do with that data.
You can ask us what data we hold about you or ask us to delete it. We’ll do what we can within reason. If you’re in the EU or UK, you also have rights under GDPR. To make a request or ask a question about privacy, use our contact form or email us at [email protected].
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. We won’t notify you of every small change, so it’s worth checking back if privacy is important to you.
